[Closed] RS505 brake pads (anyone found any non-OEM ones?)

I've been looking for some non-Shimano pads for my RS505 road calipers, and can't find any at my usual sources (Uberbike, Discobrake, Gorilla pads).

Has anyone managed to buy any non-Shimano pads for these?

I think they are the same size pads as RS805 calipers.

When I emailed uberbike a little while back they said they were getting some but they were still 'some months out'.

I think the new generation of mtb brakes take the same pad so with any luck that will giddy up the aftermarket.

Need some pads myself, but they are like gold dust, especially the finned "L" metal versions.

Merlin have the unfinned "K" versions (sintered)  https://www.merlincycles.com/shimano-k04s-disc-brake-pads-sintered-101342.html for ~£13

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Shimano-Cycling-BRS805-Brake-Metal/dp/B017DF2XWM/ref=cts_sp_1_vtp £8 for resin unfinned

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Shimano-Pills-br-rs805-505-Resin-REFRIG/dp/B016RETTQI/ref=cts_sp_1_vtp £18 resin finned

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/shimano-road-disc-brake-pads-alloy/ £19 resin or metal finned

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/shimano-road-disc-brake-pads-alloy-backed/rp-prod151619 £19 resin or metal finned, find another ~£62 for basket and use BC discount code

I can't believe we still have to edit a post 3+ times for an edit to show up, this issue has been around for well over a month. :/

Hit refresh after about a minute of your update and the edit will appear - for some weird reason it takes ages to update properly.

The unfinned ones are £8 at SJS.

Rose is usually good for the L02A resin finned ones if you're ordering enough stuff to make the postage worthwhile.

For those still interested in this, I've just noticed that Discobrakes are now listing RS505 / 805 pads.
