Just read the BR review of the Reverb post, and it struck me as being at odds with the stw consensus around them. No mention of bleeding, slop or any such. So, is this an unfeasibly good example, or is it just that we generally hear more about the borked ones?

I expect that the best ones are picked out for press samples and that they're properly bled etc.

I heard that the tubing is so thin on the lower section of the post, if you do your seatclamp up too tight, the post won't drop.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

No mention of bleeding other than

no maintenance required after the initial line trimming and rebleed
