Got a pair of those 140 maxle revs. The ones that appeared for only a year before they went 150mm and a lot lighter. I think they are pike lowers with rev tops, a bit of a hash up, but what they produced for a year.

Finding it difficult to find what oil volumes and weight I should put in when I service these next week. Any help appreciated.

Currently they top out when I lift the bars with a bit of a knock, unlike my smooth as butter much older 130mm revs. About to start playing with pressures (much lower than suggested on guide, currently a little high I think -100PSI for a 12 stone guy)and more rebound. Again, any help appreciated with the clonk,

Fantastic LoCo - many thanks all downloaded, I know this is your business.
Any ideas of the knock at full extension? pressure too high in + with not enough rebound?

LoCo on a separate issue, Do I have to use a formula IS to post 160mm adaptor for front brake , or will a shimano one do from CRC? Brakes are ORO's

Probably a top out clunk due to lack of rebound, have a look at my setup guide on rebound:

I've always used hope brakes, so not 100% on compatability of adaptors, however I'm pretty sure a Shimano or Hope one would be ok with formula brakes, feel free to correct me on this any one else !

All sorted, many thanks again LoCo - I will send them to you when they need expert help. Lower pressures - 70PSI and more rebound sorted it out. A little surprised that I am using the very lowest pressure recommended on the chart to get it to feel right - sag/plushness.
