I'm sure I saw a rear mudguard that rolled up under your seat when not needed on the interweb a couple of months ago but can't find it now. There's one on Kickstarter but I'm sure it was one you could buy now. I'm not thinking of that inflatable one either.
Any suggestions, or was I imagining it?

Topeak Air Fender. They made a front one as well.
I don't think that they are made anymore. I wonder why? 🙄

That looks like a good idea. I think I want one. And the price is just as with some normal guards...
