I want a 170/180mm single crown fork with travel adjust such as U-Turn. I really want coil and not air.
The Domain's that come with u-turn are 115mm - 160mm. Can this be increased to 180mm? has anyone done it?
As far as I can see, I cant get a 180mm coil totem with u-turn, is this correct?

Many Thanks

i've got 180mm Domains.

excellent forks, but not U-turn.

lacking the seperate high/low speed compression damping, but unless you know what you're doing, you don't need it.

do you really need 180mm travel?

Ideally, yes 170 or 180mm of travel. I have 170 on the rear and want to balance it out. I'm currently running 36 Talas and they are too short axle to crown. 66's would do but i really want the rockshox u-turn.
I know you can make the 180mm domains 160mm by changing spacers, I just wondered if anyone had done it the other way round.

It wouldn't work, the u-turn mechanism is integrated with the spring, so you'd need a longer spring.

The only longer u-turn forks would be some 2006 boxxer rides, 170-120mm adjustable, and you can raise or drop the forks in the crowns to adjust the geo to suit.
