hey,

looking at one of these.
seat post

wondering what height i need?

This is my current post:
30.9 x 350/400mm

wondering if i need the 380 or 400? I run my post quite high on the post at mo so would the 420 be best?

I have a pitch. The post doesnt go fully down when at lowesr point.

Also what's the difference between stealth and none stealth?

Cheers

Rob

On a stealth, the hose runs through your frame (and hence is nice and neat at all times).

On a non-stealth, it runs outside the frame and connects at the saddle-clamp, so it gets a bit flappy when the seat is down.

Obviously, you need a compatible frame to use a stealth.

Obviously, you need a compatible frame to use a stealth...

...and the patience to thread the hose through said compatible frame ๐Ÿ˜‰

Obviously, you need a [s]compatible frame[/s] power drill and an expired warranty to use a stealth.

I had a medium pitch and (I think, pretty sure it was) the long reverb fit in the frame even when at it's lowest setting.

It sticks out the frame by about 190mm IIRC, check that's enough as (IMO) the pitch was too short for a given size, at 6ft I'd have happily ridden it with an L top tube and M seatpost to get the Reverb in comfortably.

Search google images for reverb size chart and look at Alltricks one.

Well, I have about 21mm from the clasp to the top of the post before the bars.

That's at the maximum height I ride it so want to get it as low as possible as the frame bends so need as small as i can get away with.

From this info will the 380 be fine? Or even the 350 if I can get one.

Cheers

super, so just measure top(saddle) to kink/bend in the frame to get the A measurement.

I'd say A is to the bottom of the saddle rails.

AFAIK you can't get a 150mm Reverb in 30.9, I was looking the other day

400 should be perfect so 127/125 should do the trick ๐Ÿ™‚
