Anyone had any experience of these? Looks like a good price to me for a 140mm 3.5lb fork. Just wondered if anyone out there is using one yet and what the ride is like....or is it worth spending a bit more for a U turn?
Thanks
Mine are great. Easy to set up, I've only played with the +/- air pressures, the damping felt fine out the box, I might experiment soon. They feel a bit better damped than my 08 Fox 32 TALAS. I've had 2 pairs of forks with adjustable travel, and I've only ever used it to see if it still works! That's probably because I'm tall and never feel the need to lower the front when climbing. There's an internal adjustment that reduces the travel by fitting 20mm spacers if the forks feel too tall.
i have the 150mm race forks. They feel similar to my 09's but with a bit more travel. Actually get a full 150mm travel unlike other brands. Very light and very stiff. You can't go wrong really. I wouldn't change mine for anything.
I have U-turn on the Pike, and because it's so many clicks I don't use it much. Only done a few rides on my Rev Races, but they do feel very nice so far, and are very cheap for what you get IMO.
More of a PSA than advertising this but the offer ones are nearly all gone now (sub 10 sets left and ive got 2 coming from the warehouse for me tomorrow) and once theyve gone at that price theyve gone!
Mine are pretty good. Buttery smooth, light and stiff, although they do seem to dive under braking more than the Talas they replaced. I'm pretty sure a bit of pressure fettling would sort that out, but I really can't be arsed.
