Would like to shed some weight from the forks and change to air as it will drop a 1lb.

They are 2010 U-turns if i make the swop is this all I need -

What you need -

Plugging this into my u-turns this week. It'll work as long as the is no scratches inside the stanchion. There a liner in there that should stop scratches from the coil, but not always.

be careful, if rockshox are the same as fox they can go from air to coil but not the other way around, something to do with the spring damaging the surface's of the lowers and preventing a good seal for the air spring.

b45her,s right.The spring scores the inside of the stanchion preventing an air seal.
