Anyone got these forks can get some new ones pretty cheap (170 quid)at the moment and I am looking for an adjustable fork for my Stumpy epic 2007 any thoughts?
I ride mostly singletrack/trail ctrs and some downhill!

I believe the 302s have very basic damping, lacking the Motion Control on the higher models. I wouldn't, personally!

not sure what a stumpy epic is, but it's probably not designed for such long-travel forks

I wouldn't either

100mm race frame isn't really well paired together with 160mm big forks, fair enough with U-Turn you could get them down to 115mm but they are I would try and find something lighter and more suitable.
Also as has been said the 302s have pretty basic damping so aren't great.

get the 318s if you can afford it, they work much better

Used some that came on my big t for a year or so.
Very heavy (over 6lb I think), seemed to blow though the travel too quickly, also can't change the low speed compression (318's have the blue knob on rh leg) to stop them diving so much under braking. Saying all that I still did the mega on them in '09.
Better off getting some more suitable second hand forks i'd say.

Still only a 120mm frame (maybe 100mm, not sure what travel they had in 2007)

Domains are overkill for that bike

Shame they are down to £150 on CRC at the moment can't find any 2nd hand ones going for that kinda money I don't have any fork on it at the moment so was just looking for something to do a good job until I can afford ones to do a great job!

I had a Tora 302, and the damping struggled to control 130mm of travel at XC speeds, certainly wouldn't want that level of control on a 180mm fork being used as it should.

Rock Shox Revelation 2007 or 2008 model, with 130mm travel - maybe the U-turn one so you can adjust the travel.
