Pretty dumb q but I want to check before I order - if the stated length is 420mm, is that measurement taken from bottom to mid rail or bottom to top?
Mid rail on the few I have measured.
If 3.5mm makes a difference to you, do you now want a greater margin for error?

does anyone know if the bottom of the reverb seat post can be cut down ? i would need to take off 40mm off the bottom of the 380mm version to get it right for me. i've had my tape measure out on my Lapierre spicy and i'm only raising my thomson seat post 100mm off the tube stop to get my pedal ride hight.
hang on a minute, is the total length 380mm then it retracts 125mm (making a compressed length of 255mm)?
if thats the case, i'm ok for one. (but why has it taken me this long for the penny to drop on this with me!?!) 😯
