Hi!
Decided to try and do the 200hr service on my RS Reba A7s (140mm) yesterday. Everything seemed to go well, until I filled it with oil. With everything in place I was walking through the house gently pressing the rebound damper up and down to see how smooth it was, when the seal head bursts out shooting suspension oil everywhere. Great! To make matters worse, the shaft now has some faily deep nicks in it, and is therefore, useless. I guess the circlip wasn't in properly?
I've found the part number I need (11.4018.025.021), but since it's going to be about £100 quid to replace, is it worth going for an upgrade? If so, does anyone know of an upgrade that will fit for somewhere in the region of £150?
I'll get someone else to fit it :s
Thanks guys!
Sorry, can't help it. You have my sympathy.

Most people I've told can't offer any advice because they're too busy howling with laughter :s :s :s
