Was out today helping a freind, (he's a broker and selle luxury cars for a living) he had to collect and deliver two nice cars from a fellow broker near Keswick, to a collector just north of Birmingham, anyway he asked me to help him out, who'd say no to a day driving an Aston Martin, anyway we set of in a Bentley and the Aston, but got a little confused with roads, stopped to ask a MAMIL for directions, we were looking for the M6, anyway long story short we followed his intructions and needed up stuck down some rather narrow lane, cue some rather interesting reversing and a lot of sweating, now I don't want to sound ungrateful, but I have a feeling that he sent us down the wrong way on purpose!!!!

that said it didn't ruin a rather fun day out driving in the sun............

........ingenious - is that an expletive? It's biased I know but if somebody driving those cars asked me for directions, I'd assume they were overfed numpties and give them spam beta.
For the M6 from Keswick, follow the big blue signs along the A66 - the only main road heading vaguely in the right direction.

But people from the Lakes hate anyone that doesn't breed within the family. It was just your day to get cycling Johnboy.

Why would there be a lane in existence that you can't drive a car down, irregardless of it being an Aston Martin? Sounds to me like you pussied out and are blaming the roadie so as not to lose face.

Ron Jeremy - no matter how i look at it, even use an anagram creator you do not have the correct letter for my mums name so that rules her out! Reason i say that is that she has the worst sense of direction and not a clue where she is/is going. Yet, you as a biker, appear to have the same problems as my mum does! Trail centres a speciality?

Blokes in a Bentley and an Aston can't be bothered using the in built / buying a Sat Nav.

Yep, I'd have sent you the wrong way as well.
