Sorry, but I couldn’t help myself.
Out on the road bike today – quick lap of Windermere. Heading down towards the south of the lake when I’m stopped by drivers of an Aston Martin and Bentley. They were in a rush and wanted to know the fastest fastest route back to the M6.
Now, ordinarily I’m a bit if a petrol head, but trying to give these two ‘hoorays’ directions over the noise of their engines as they were intentionally revving them in an attempt to impress me just got my back up. Hence sending the two of them off in convoy up a very narrow lane that ultimately becomes a very rocky greenlane, narrowing even more and with a complete lack of turning spaces!
Will I go to hell?
