Looking to replace my 'off road' vittoria CX tyres that are wearing too fast on my 30 mile commute. Looking to get something more like a slick with a little tread on edges for the odd gravel cycle path (not true off road). Use this bike mainly for commutes, a bit of training and shortish touring (60-70 miles per day)
Narrowed choices (in order) to Conti top tourings, Shwalbe marathon plus or Specialized borough CX (armadillo).
Must be 32c, hard wearing (at least 3 x 30 mile rides a week), good puncture resistance and fairly light. Any recommendations?
PS. Would have just bought the 'top tourings'. but seem to be at least £35 each so want to make sure I get the right thing.
