hi gang.
i removed the 30 spacer out of my recon 351 sl,s yesterday to up them to 130.simple job but have come across a problem.
they have now gone fro 100mm to a tadge under 140mm???????
the spacer is a two part contraption consisting of a barrel and a clipped in top cap.
acording to the sram pdf you remove all of this as they do not split apart.
any tech heads on tonight so i can pick your brains..cheers all.
Is that travel or the amount of exposed stantion? There should be more than 130mm of stantion showing for 130mm travel
i thought about that one and hoped it was that.
it,s just that at 100mm there was 100mm exposed.if this is the case i,ll cut the spacer to 10mm to drop the front end a bit and just use 120 instead .i think the frame angles would be a bit slack with an extra 40mm rise.
