A mate of mine is in the market for a new road wheelset. He's considering these Hunt wheels. Has anyone any experience of these wheels or could recommend a similar alternative?
He's also probably going down the route of the additional option of Schwalbe Pro One tubeless fitted & set-up as part of the package.

Mine have been great.
Bought the disc version of the above for a possible change to a disc road bike.
Currently being used on my cross bike and handling the race season fine.
Robust and light!
A great package as well with tubeless valves and q/r included.
Thanks,
Max

I've had one ride on my 4 season road disc wheels. Can't complain so far and the build quality feels good so far on top of them being impressively light at the price.

I've been using a pair of American Classic Hurricane Road Disc wheels on my Stoater, with Hutchinson Sector 28 tyres. No problems with them in the last 1500km, and I'm fairly heavy (~100kg).

The Mason ones do look a little better though, and are a bit cheaper too.

For about the same price and weight as the Hunts, I had the following handbuilt:

Stans Grail rims 24 spoke
Novatec disc hubs D771/772
Sapim CX ray spokes & brass nipples.

Can also recommend Spokesman, had a lovely Archetype / Novatech build off him.
