[Closed] Road Brake compatibility - SRAM levers with Shimano callipers?

anyone know for sure what the lever pull ratio is for SRAM drop bar levers vs. Shimano levers?

I recall that campag and shimano used to be different and thus not ideal mixed.

I want to use Rival brake levers with shimano long reach callipers on my winter commuter, but will it work and feel right?

The problem with using campag brakes with shitmano sti's is that the levers don't have the brake release on them and is not cable pull issues. I'm fairly certain the brakes are almost completely interchangeable - my SO uses chorus front brake with 600 longdrop rear brake with chorus ergos.

Hi. I use SRAM Rival levers with shimano R650 long drop calipers and they work fine.

They work fine, completely compatible.
The only issue is using Campag calipers with Shimano or SRAM levers since the calipers don't have that little QR lever, Campag uses a little button on the Ergo levers to give the cable some slack and open the calipers up.
