Definitely something to admire and remember. A loss to British cycling and a historic achievement too.

met Brian at a mates bike shop in the 90's. a lovely bloke.

I met him ar L’etape du Tour in 1999 when he rode it in his 70s- top bloke with time for everyone

Never knew him to speak to but he lived just down the road from us, I used to see him ride around Mirfield on his e-bike not that long since. RIP

Seen him interviewed a lot and always came over really well.

A life well lived.

I met him a few times.He sometimes helped out on our local Sustrans cleanups,enjoyed a natter and a coffee with him. A really nice genuine man. RIP Brian.
