So, after being really impressed with myself for wearing my brake pads all the way down I have now noted that the brake pad shoes have torn the decals on my rear wheel.
Is it a pointless waste of time replacing the decals or is it money well spent to have a good looking bike.
Any tips for fitting them?
I always take mine off as I think not makes it look better.
You could just take the front ones off too so they match?
I am sort of put off because they seem quite expensive for what they are really.
Destickering where possible is good for pretty much every component imo.
Rim stickers are always removed where possible. I think they look better without. If the stickers make the rims look more expensive than they are, for me, that would be another reason to remove them.
I keep mine on. Authenticity/provenance.
If it's an aluminium rim, won't it be worn through the anodising under the decal and not look right?
Are you using rim brakes on a disc only rim?
