Come on! I have to choose really quite quickly and I just can't do it!

The red looks lovely in real life but the raw works alloy won't get scratched to f00k...

polished - but without the blue bits - get red to match the writing on the frame.

Red. Everything's bloody grey, silver, grey, these days. Have some colour on your life.

Do you think it'll be easier to re-sell the works as you can't tell if it's been scratched!?!

No idea, but it'll be easier to resell than the red one because it looks better. If you want some colour, accent it up.

It's an Intense - you don't need to worry about selling it on . . . you won't want to 😉 . Go red! . . . and anyway, cracked Intense's are cool 8)

It's really hard for me not to say the Raw colour purely as the picture you've chosen is sporting a CCDB...

But Red.

Raw - but without the blue bits!

Or red.

What colour are all of your bike clothes? (sorry, girly considerations there!)

Blue is lovely and would have been my first choice.

However, as the 2011 tracer is being released soon this one isn't being made/painted in blue anymore..

I'll be getting old stock hence red or raw

(well, until I can order a 2011 in works blue, aha mwha ha ha ha aha)

*hopes Mrs RRR doesn't read this*

bike clothes? er black mostly, with a bit of dark green and/or grey... but with a blue waterproof.

I'm going to clash horribly with the red one!

Raw, far nicer, you won't cry over scratching it as much and I'd guess re-selling would be easier, plus I've always liked the Ra works and the red looks a little cheap IMO.

I'd say raw.

No scratches to worry about, who cares about cable-rub etc etc.

Plus when you decide on a new colour its easier to powdercoat.

I have never had or considered a red bike but my Tracer came up cheapish and I love the colour. Its raw underneath with a clear red powdercoat over the top, lovely! Would prefer a blue one though.

Paintwork on those things scratches *really* easily, therefore raw wins for me.

My bike is a combination of those two colours and I like the red half better. Grey/silver is just a really bad colour.

Disagree I think the blue is too '2009' (i.e. a fashion colour). It'd never be Yeti blue (classy).

Raw is distinct.

Love the way that everyone voting for raw justifies the choice on the basis that the red paint will scratch really easily and look shite.

As opposed to just a half finished job with no paint that looks shite from the word go! 😀

Two very good friends of mine have had six intenses between them. Two cracked in various places and the remaining four eat bearnings like they were cake. Seriously, they spend upwards of £60 per bike every six months. Part of that is because they insist on jet washing their bikes every single time they ride them. The other part is that the frames are so far out of line that the front wheel is in a different county to the rear one!

Works red looks fabulous in real life - I'd go with that. You wont notice the scratches when it's covered in mud like a proper mountain bike should be.

Red - looks aggressive

Raw seem unfinished. If it was polished tho...

People who can't make up their own mind should be shot, or burned, or cut up into tiny pieces, or drowned, or crushed ... bloody hell, I can't decide. Can someone do it for me please.

Anyway, why so many disparaging remarks about the Tracer?

I know the early ones sort of er..snapped but the revised rear triangle sorted that!

I'm always intrigued why some people are almost aggressive on their dislike of a particular bike etc..

Well it turned up today.

Works red really does look lovely in real life although I think it's a Marmite colour!
