Think you may have the wrong mag mate. The Ride Journal isn't "Ride".

Thanks Jedi, praise indeed as I know you've seen more sides of cycling than most.

We're always interested in people's feedback and indeed submissions for articles, photography or art.

Cheers!

I really like it.

Issues 1 & 2 now stored in the loft in cellophane next to original Star Wars character dolls for the day they're worth more than 1st editions of Canterbury Tales 🙂

There are a few shops left with issue 1, but not many. Bothy bikes certainly had a few when I was in there a few weeks ago and Cycle Care in High Wycombe might have a copy. Officially we are sold out of issue 1 though. Hunt it down; there's some BMX and ooh, lots of other good stuff in there too.

'When's the next one out?' Don't hold your breath :^) We're definitely doing it, but it will be a while. We're addicted now...

I love it.
Have been reading and savouring a couple of articles every night in bed.
I'ts great that I know a few of the people and have ridden with them.

We have them as coffee table books in the b.h household.
Going to re-read issue one again after this newest addition.

superb photography/artwork, well presented overall, and great articles.

Thanks DeanoT
I have both issues (still eking out issue2 so perhaps I didn't recognise the picture)
Like Jedi I think its pretty much spot on, having an interest in all things bike since 1979 when I started doing TT's its great to see something so diverse getting published. Keep up the good work 🙂

Funny, I posted up a thread nearly a week ago when my copy arrived and nobody took a blind bit of notice, now everyone's raving about it. Still, at least I was first...
It is a lovely piece of work, tho', really difficult to imagine any way it could be improved on. Love the Heros of Cycling feature, and nice to see Pharrell Williams writing about Brooklyn Machine Works; having a Rap star writing in a British cycling mag, (book?), must be a first. And yes, I know there's an interview with him in Dirt. Not the same thing.
Lovely, lovely illustrations as well, congratulations all round.

Got my one last week and think it's a great book, it's too nice to call it a magazine I think.
The next day I bumped into a certain gentleman who had cycled round the world in 195 days and he kindly signed my copy of Ride.

Just in case you don't know Mark Beaumont, I'm the fat one on the right 😀

Hello,
Philip (the editor) here.

Glad folk are enjoying it. It makes the endless disappearing evenings seem worthwhile.
Its great to see open minded folk who just love bikes getting into what we're about.

If anyone has any ideas for things theyd like to see (and I mean sensible stuff not Tomac racing Hill at Repack or Obree Vs Boardman at Herne Hill on fashion fixies) we're always open to ideas.

Ive been told Magma books are now out of issue 1 so unless Wycombe or Bothy still have them, then ebay for jacked up prices is the only place to find it.
sorry.

Cheers
