Got an uplift day coming up at Revolution next week and we are planning to head up and do some riding the day before of the endurognarcore kind.

I don't know the area that well but a few years ago I was taken on a pretty nice xc loop in the Tanat valley that included a descent on a pretty mental rock formation, a little like a dried up granite river bed. Lots of drops and holes etc.
Wouldn't really know where to find that any more but maybe it rings some bells for someone? Maybe there are some GPX files knocking about for a route?

Otherwise, where would you folks think about riding the day before?
Coed Y Brenin is within striking distance, Climachx is but it's shut on the 24th for a Rally stage anyway.
Nant Y Arian I guess is do-able but not sure how much is good there now after felling etc.

Any ideas folks for a grand day out in the general area?

We'll be camping, and will probably try the campsite in the Nog unless anyone knows better?

Cheers.

Your in the Berwyns, welcome to the wilderness.

You got the wayfarer not too far away but there's plenty of proper rugged trails around there.

Cheers Reign_Man.
Printed them out.

Anyone know the one I'm on about with the bedrock descent?
