During a low speed over the bars, the hose from my Rockshox popped off from the remote. I pushed it back on, which doesn't seem a very strong connection, although the remote seems to work ok. Is there something I should be doing, other than just pushing it back together?

Barb is probably snapped off inside the hose, new barb is not expensive.
Happened to me.

The barb is like a tapered screw thread, should be approx. 1cm long, and should thread into the hose. If you've pulled the hose off it, and it's still intact, remove the lever from the bar, trim back the end of the hose as it'll be damaged,and screw it back into place.
