All three Maxle's mk1's on our bikes are all going the same way. Before I get a wheel stuck suggest alternatives that are not £50 Maxle mk2's....

eBay seems to have a few that are Hex key big bolts for example, I'm not that bothered by quick, quick releases.

The kcnc one is pretty good. Or the maxle stealth for a neater look.

Wolftooth do some. More like the OEM stealth than QR.

The problem with the Maxle stealth is it requires a bit of oomph to loosen. Fine in the workshop, not so fine when there's horizontal rain, it's 3degreea below zero and you are trying to pack up so you can retire to the warmth of the pub.
