at some point I've had a puncture and a decent amount of sealant has sprayed up the back of the seat tube, mixed with some mud/grime and seems baked on pretty hard.

any tips for magic chemicals that will remove it, and not dissolve my frame at the same time.

I just use IPA or if it's really stubborn road tar remover from any motor spares place.

I’ve also got 5 month old dried sealant all over my frame 🙄

I’ve tried tar remover which kind of works (had this left over from removing sealant from a previous frame) but takes a whole load of rubbing over the area repeatedly so is a very tedious and time consuming process that I haven’t got very far with. Anyone know of that stuff above will be any better?

It's expensive for what it is, but the Muc-off sealant remover does work very well.

I've also used automotive detailing products which work, most brands will do a glue & tar remover of some sort which will be paint safe. Maybe if you have a Halfords locally nip in there and see what's on special offer from Autoglym etc. in the cleaning section?

Weirdly enough I got Joe's all over my frame this morning and it didn't stick to the Ride Wrap at all. Unexpected bonus.

Acetone/nail polish remover is most effective but that might affect the paint/tyre and soaks through most types of gloves.

Meths/isopropanol is the next most effective soak a paper towel and leave that sitting against the frame and it softens up the latex.

White vinegar does also soften latex as above but takes even longer.
