I'm getting this overwhelming urge to build a recumbent. Not one of the ones where it looks like someone squashed a normal bike, but a proper fast looking one!
Does anyone have any experience of riding or building and is it just a phase I'm going through?
Had a Kingcycle and a Burrows Wind Cheetah on loan for a while ages ago .
Even raced the Speedy on an HPV event day.
They are funny things to get your head round when you are used to 'normal' handle bar steering,but I liked them .
The three wheeler was great.
See if you can find an HPV club or event somewhere near you(probably next year now)and go along.
They are usually a friendly/mad lot 😉 and would give you a go on some weird and wonderful machines,plus give you tons of advice.
