Pretty certain I'm going for one or the other. Want to build for general trail use, and want a reasonably light weight bike. Have seen complete XTR kits on Merlin at a good price - should I go for these, throw on some Fox 32/36 forks and maybe use my old hope/mavic 317 wheels? What do folks think and how much will I be looking at in total?

Frame is a L SL in matt clear - cant wait.

whats the approximate price of that build and are you doing it yourself?
Well the majority of the components have come from a bike a split. So XTR was all bought before prices went mental!
New ive had to buy seat post, brakes sold some ultimates and then replaced with the Elxiir's. Rear hub conversion and new front wheel build also new forks.
Frame is coming from Stif and they are building have done a good discount on forks, and the build is free. Frame has no discount.
So cost wise frame/forks/seat post/rear wheel conversion/front wheel build. frame at full RRP rest discounted 15%.
All other parts carry over, but if added up together well dont like to thin about it !!!
Cant wait though frame is now with customs so nxt week or so ill have it.
