for a lightish xc full suspension bike
its a while since i bought new rims needs to be 32 hole (as i have the hubs), disc specific, black in colour and pref mavic
thanks
Not a Mavic but Stans Olympic or 355 are great rims. Tubeless specific rims are only Mavic 819. But Stans are very good and much lighter.
Stans 355 owner here. Very light. Sealed easily as well.
If you know what brand you want would a visit to their site not be more sensible!? That'll show you that they only make one appropriate one, the XM819, which is ok if you want to use UST tyres, but fairly heavy and a bugger to build on.
The Stan's range are not UST, but work excellently as tubeless rims with their rim strips, either the Olympic or the ZTR 355 would fit the bill, the former is lighter, the latter more suitable for wider tyres and a bit tougher.
819's working fine for me. every tyre seats almost instantly and no faff
If you use UST ones they are excellent, if you just want to use normal tyres tubeless Stan's rims are far easier.
stans FTW
