Hiya guys,
I need to shorten the hoses on my new hope tech brakes but I only have a box of shimano ("universal") olives. Does anyone know if these will work with my hope brakes? they look pretty similar.

Hope olives are reusable (or they always used to be)

My LBS gave me a Hope one for my SLXs as they didn't have any Shimano ones left. It worked so take it they work the other way too!
Yip they are reuseable. The only thing i have found with the more recent ones is that it helps if you nip throught the portion where they are joined ( they never used to be) this allows you to spread the olive a little to get it back on (like it was with the older ones that had a compression gap in them)
It will all become clear when you take them out.
