There's an airport near the Dark Peak. I think it's called "Manchester". Catch a 'plane to Spain

If it's any consolation Chris I fell off a few times too, but at least I did it on the slippy stuff and not in the middle of a packed car park. You did put a smile on my face tho'

Sorry Twang, a bit of a thread hijack there.

You'll probably still find a fair bit of snow where the trail is sheltered. Last weekend there was a fair bit of pushing both up and down. The climb out of Roych Clough to Mount Famine had a long section that was too snowy to ride effectively, and even coming down Jacob's ladder involved a push in the walled sections. It was fun on the sections coming off Rushop Edge (see the vid above) tho'

It's snowing today in Leek, so chances are more is coming down in the Dark Peak. Bring your bike to stick to the low and/or exposed sections to avoid the drifted snow still to melt

Well my local loop that I usually do is pretty snow free apart from a few sections (Glossop > Rowarth > Lantern Pike > Hayfield or you can add in a dash of Mellor and Chinley Churn as well...) email me for more info (check my profile for email)
