given the limitations of my locality how much road is deemed acceptable as to get to the interesting bits there would be many albeit short, road sections
just pondering a musing on a route want to get it to about 20 miles or so
that sounds like alot of road.

It would all depend on the quality of the off road bits for me.
Give me stunning singletrack and i can forgive most things 😛
