Dales Bike Centre is full when we're going unfortunately!
Oh - and it needs to be within walking distance of a pub!
How about a cottage? If there are a few of you it could work out alright price wise.

I have stayed in Gunnerside a few times. There is a pub, a tea rooms and good riding right out of the village.
Only 2 of us - so cottage not really an option. We use one in Scotland every and it is amazing how cheap they can be - I think it works out at £75 each for a week! Not telling where tho'!
There's also Grinton YHA which is within pissing distance [nearly] of a pub & the Dales biking centre & has superb singletrack from right outside the door

Gonna phone Grinton YHA I think - web is showing no availability but it's worth a shot. Stayed there in '96 on the coast to coast and it was great.
