Not in spd's 😉

Only kidding, I got a great deal on some bontragers, carbon soles, stiff and light.

what sort of shoes ? lightweight carbon racey types or more "normal" looking trainer style lace ups.

Racey or more casual? My Spesh Tahoes have last well and are comfortable, enough grip for muddy frollicks and don't look ridiculous off the bike. Cheaper that £100 too.

Did break a lace on one recently but that's after 18 months or so.

EDIT - beaten by Klunk!

Shimano MT33 are crap, just replaced with some Mavic alpine - so far, so good.

DZR shoes for the trainer style? Urban Cyclery were v. helpful in sizing and efficient in mailing me a pair a few weeks back. 'Flyer' may still get you 10% off an order.
