I'm a Spokey fan too, I can work with them quicker than anything else.

i've got the triangle park one - doesn't slip but kills your fingers - no good for wheel building

Ive had one of these since i did my training, solid and dependable with a 4 sided grip

Cant say ive ever been a fan of the spokey ones, or the park professional ones ive tried them both and have always gone back to the one in the link above.

If you buy a Spokey, try and get the Pro version as it has a deeper jaw and is less likely to slip or damage nipples.

red and yellow spokeys in the garage tool box, all-in-one BBB tool in the camelbak, similar to this but think my is ally not cromo

http://www.ukbikesdepot.com/products.php?plid=m11b0s72p1334

comfy enough to use to build a full wheel, and should fit any wheel in my riding group if needs be.

You can have a real fancy one with a red cross in it for £14

[img] [/img]

Or one with a hole in it for £5

I guess the cross was hand carved or something? 😉

I have a sapim one. Not sure where you can get them from - i got mine from a sapim sponsored wheel building coach.

cost a fair bit, but its solid metal, very comfortable to use and with a well formed key.

The one in the top pic makes a crap spokey but is good for removable tubeless valve cores.

Black Park Pro here. The four sided designs I find a bit of a pain as you have to slide them over the top of the nipple rather than from the side which takes more time.
