These are at hand, or do I need to order the special red stuff?
I think this is on eBay as a tiny sachet.

cant think of any shocks that still use grease...

both of them are throwbacks to the elastomer days arent they? all about oils now innit?

or am i wrong?

I have ,5,10+15wt oils too. But would appreciate advice.

Depends what you are using it for. Fox provide lube (oil) for their shocks.

Trying to emulate fox shox float fluid

Apparently it's just 85w gear oil

Have a read here for more oily things

gear oil will thicken in cold weather making the shock stroke behave a little odd.

float fluid is pennys & wont degrade like gear oil also any contaminates in there its bye bbye air can .
