Working 9-5 with holidays. Not 7 - whenever with one day off like 2011. Comapny car so travel isn't an issue.
Which means;
No more long late nights on the turbos just to stay half fit.
Money I can spend on bikes.
Being able to travel without worries.
Turning up for evening races feeling fresh, not tired and filthy with aching legs.
Already accumulated some holiday to use before January...nice bit of early season endurance I think.
Road race season in the planning.
MTB CX racing, the same.
CX season will hopefully naturally be better.
London-Paris-London booked
Two new road bikes on the cards.
i'm looking forward to riding in 2012 too ๐
new slimmer me thanks to a change of diet earlier this year plus a ride-friendly level of fitness being maintained over the winter using the gym and getting out on the bike with friends. fingers crossed for less injuries so i dont spend all the good weather recovering from the last OTB. and the new (to me, second hand in real life) full-suss to play on!
just us then ๐
Going to be travelling to ride more. Currently planning a trip to mid Wales for some big(er) hills and maybe a descent of Snowdon, and an off-road C2C.
Also got a home holiday with the wife, so will be taking bikes on that too.
happy days ๐
