Really enjoying adventure content from Josh Reid + Josh Ibbett lately – anyone else?

There’s something authentic and genuine about their videos – well produced, nice music, solid storytelling, great riding, and a bit of grit. It's actually keeping me sane (questionable strategy, I know) whilst I'm taking enforced time off the bike.

Anyone got recommendations for other vloggers doing this sort of thing? Doesn’t have to be another Josh (though clearly it’s a strong name for it).

Appreciate it’s not a million miles away but struggling for a long enough block of time away from childcare or work to get there and back

Sofiane Sehilli's can be good too as he's another of those awesome athletes who manages to give a warts and all approach to ultra-racing. Lachlan Morton for his amazing endeavours. Dirty Teeth MTB does some good interviews with ultra riders, although there is less race footage. Some of the Rapha stuff can be interesting too if you take out a bit of the "it's all pain and suffering".

If you've watched Josh Reid's recent videos he has had Maddy Nutt on there too and she has her own channel. Another couple of ladies include BuzzAlong or Puck Moonen who are also pretty enthusiastic.

Awesome, thanks for the suggestions. Yes a few familiar names and some new ones so I will be checking those out.

I have Becky Surridge's (Mason Cycles) vlog from Atlas to watch at some point as well:

I used to quite like the Chris Hall videos, he does lots of cool bikepacking/ultra events and gets a lot of B-roll/context type footage of the places themselves and not just his own face while pedalling up hills and gurning like some seem to focus on!

Recently they seem a bit more sponsor-centric which I completely understand is a necessity for him to do the rest of it, but I'd say work through the back catalogue of event-focussed videos rather than the more recent "6 things you should have for an ultra race, that just happen to come from my sponsors" videos.

There’s a guy I’ve been watching on YouTube, Matt Ryder. He did the tour divide and also the transcontinental and has just done the tour Aotearoa. He’s an unlikely YouTuber but dead nice and authentic. Worth a watch.
