New raw one I ordered arrived today (within 24 hours of ordering!), looks lovely.
Ordered V1 for the slightly more conventional brake routing and rack mounts for when commuting. Looks like a V2 has arrived anyway, bah. The V1 is sold out now so I appear to be stuffed on that front, never mind.
What sort of scratches and marks were on others frames just out of curiosity?
Is that sort of thing normal? Quite deep stratch coming out of a weld, no marks I can see inside, having a better look tonight.
Also do people find they need more hose when swapping to the V2 design? I'd rather not swap hoses and rebleed for something I didn't even ask for.
Over zealous with a burnish gun?
Crap QC.
There are sufficient bosses on the top and down tubes so you could go either way with the brake although there are only bosses on the chainstay and not the seatstay. I didn't have a problem with my rear brake and, if you have the dropouts that puts the caliper between the stays, it does reduce the required length slightly
My raw Scandal 29er did have a few scratches and blemishes from new and I really like the finish on it but your scratch does look a bit bigger and deeper than I would be expecting...would be a bit miffed particularly if I didn't even order that frame
:edit: looking again at the pic, it's a big pic so relative to the scale, it's not too bad imo
I'm annoyed that there are no 16" raw's in stock (26" wheel) and they don't know when they will get some. Very frustrating
Isn't the whole thing about Raw is that they are kinda raw?

Yeah, that was why I was just curious if that was the norm ๐ The rest of the frame is fairly immaculate. Had a look inside with a torch and it seems fine, just an unfortunate place for a mark, the first place I look ๐
Chucked a mail to On-One regarding getting the wrong model and they replied very quickly, chucked me a set of tyres since they had no more V1s in stock.
Very impressed to be honest. Really seem to have picked up their game in the shipping/support department. Lovely looking frame too, looks like a lot more work went into them compared to the old version.
I looked at the raw frame and didnt like the quality of it, So I went for the black ano one instead. But that doesnt look like it should be there.
Mine came with quite a few scrapes and small scratches but nothing as big or obvious as yours. That said I didn't mind as I planned to paint mine anyway. Great frames by the way ๐
