anybody had this done? looking to try and improve the suspension through its mid stroke

No, but I'd be interested to know, if you do get it done.
Must admit, I'm finding mine a bit too boingy, makes it quite difficult when trying to pump the trail or get airborne. unfortunately I'm not nerdy enough to be bothered learning about setting up the shock correctly or playing with the various settings, I've just done the basic set up with a shock pump and left the propedal off (assumed that horst link sus didn't need propedal).

I had found the same , mid stroke it would eat through, but at the same time the bike wants to sit quite upright, backing off the rebound and lowering the pressure helps but as you say its difficult to pump the suspension yourself. there is an mbr article as they have a stereo on long term test. they have fitted a slightly longer shock bushing and also slackened the lower bearing load on the 3d link and they say they have improved it , any one tried this ?
