For anyone thinking about going to the MK Rutland Cycles after my post yesterday I've now been and unless you want a bike there isn't much point in making the trip - most of the stock except bikes is full price

Mammut have some half price boots, my Raichle boots are finally falling apart so taking advantage.

https://www.mammut.com/uk/en/products/3030-03160-0379/mercury-iii-mid-gtx-men

@jimmy - How did you find these? They don’t appear under the Boots section when browsing them rough the website? My wife is also after some boots so I’m wondering if similar offers are available on any women’s versions…

@afrothunder88 - I'd just googled Mammut boots on a whim and they came up in search results directly.

Oddly, I was telling my missus and she couldn't find them either!

I've had a dispatched confirmation though, so I think/hope they're real.

A search https://www.mammut.com/uk/en/search?q=mercury+iii will bring the boots up. Ordered a pair for myself.
So that's a pair of boots, two Lyrik forks, BB52, 4xM4100 10 speed cassettes, a Rapha Infinium and a Rapha Hooded jacket that have been ordered thanks to the PSAs on here. Saved a small fortune compared to RRP, but I'm all spent up now so no more please!

If you can live with the colour, these endura trousers are brilliant for £53. All sizes available. My pair are on their third winter and they've lasted well. Nice normal fit too, no weird carrot leg shape.

This looks worth a punt for a budget all-in-one light at £30:

LifeLine Pavo 1400 Lumen Motion Front Light | Chain Reaction (chainreactioncycles.com)

Might be best as a helmet light (but helmet mount costs extra).

@chakaping I bought one to go with my £35 Aria which usefully got me another bar mount. seems nicely made, not convinced its 1400 Lumens though.

They don't sell a helmet mount anymore that I can see, so I do need to figure out if there's something out there that will work or I can adapt.

Madison Isoler Merino Waterproof Sock £13.99

@woodster - The description says max output 1,100 lumens in constant, so your suspicions are probably correct.

So I imagine it's a bit weedy as a bar light for technical MTB riding, but would probably suit some uses well.

Garmin Instinct 2, 40 or 45mm size is £175 on the Members Deals currently, Solar version discount too.

https://www.garmin.com/en-GB/p/775421

https://www.bikeperfect.com/reviews/garmin-instinct-2-solar-review-a-rugged-smar****ch-with-solar-charging

I think its already good value, but this is a great deal - not available anywhere else for less.

You'll have to follow the links over there to get this price >

Some great prices on some of the other models too.

Is it a garmin mount? You can get Garmin to GoPro adapters and that'll give you more helmet mount options. I have a slightly different light but I've modified a GoPro mount and bolted that straight on. Might be possible too.

Is it a garmin mount?

No they are a proprietary mount which is actually quite nice and a lot more solid than a Garmin mount.

Folk are selling 3D printed adaptors from go pro to Lifeline over on the ebay.

@cp, Thanks that looks like a good option. Will the 3D printed stuff will be up to the task for off-road riding?

@nickjb Sadly it's an almost Garmin mount, so it nearly works, but not quite.

It looks like it raises the rear wheel a decent amount so, yes, it's probably worth getting one to avoid having your weight pitched forward onto your hands. If you are not planning on doing lots of out of the saddle sprinting you can probably get away with using a thick book, wood block etc.

Crc/wiggle are knocking them out at £2.99...

Got one last week for my setup... bigger than expected but worked well for raising the front and adding stability

Big Al in aqua for £157.69 (SALE10 code), last one.

Would have snapped it up myself, but already picked up a Scout 290 frame for £200 last week…

Thanks, they arrived at 11am, they were back at the PO at 2pm, far too narrow. Thanks for the heads up anyway, if they were wider they’d have been great.

Apologies for missing the earlier questions but yes, the £175 Garmin Instinct 2 is accessible to full members via our STW discounts (link up there somewhere). Lots of other good deals too.

For the smar****ch curious - I'm really happy - I didnt want a big colour computer screen on my arm - this replaced my well battered daily Carbon G-Shock and its almost identical in size, and appearance.

email popped in this morning:

https://www.planetx.co.uk/products/on-one-scandal-sram-gx-axs-mountain-bike

Scandal GX AXS.

£1300 seems like a bit of a deal on the face of it. at RRP you're getting a GX AXS groupset and a free rest of bike, but the image doesn't show the AXS, but I assume it's not T type.

spec seems OK otherwise too, Pike selects, G2 brakes.

I think it's a good deal? I think...

Adidas Terrex Skyclimb jackets for £44 (M or F).

The styling is probably personal preference but not a bad price for a jacket with Primaloft Gold Active+ and Goretex Infinium. It says it's for ski touring but I imagine it'll work fine walking the dog on a crisp morning or stuffed in the bottom of a pack ready for post-ride coffee stops.

Just got A Maxxis tyre delivered from Merlin (DHR2 3C Exo+ 29x2.4) £49.99

Not a great saving but cheapest I could see and needed as the side knobs on my old one a clinging on for dear life.

No retail packaging and a white Maxxis logo, must have been taken off a new bike. I was so close to buying a pair of Kryptotals because the thought of having white and yellow Maxxis logos was making me twitch, I'm at ease now.

Slam69 currently have 15% off everything, which makes some Hope stuff very price competitive. One-Up V2s are £180/210 so cheaper than above. New V3 version sounds good but they seem to be slowly hiking the price at each revision.
