The Vaude stuff appears to have been virtual. They accepted my order and then six hours later they emailed to tell me that they had no stock. Methinks they cocked up. It did look too good to be true, and it was.

some brake pads for less than a fiver

I think those are resin pads (unless others are in stock) - best avoided

That is a shame about the Vaude stuff. I ordered couple of the panniers. Just checked my order on their website and it is no longer there but I have not had an email from them. Cheeky buggers

hmm, size S6 (dowot?) only for that price. Slightly less good reductions for other sizes/colours

Not a massive saving, but Hope brakes are rarely more that 15% discount. V4s are £161 and E4s £150 from CRC currently.

Bagged a LHS V4 for £160 before they sold out. RHS were £183 at the time, so got one for £178 from Merlin with a discount code.  Oh well 😅

Tredz would have price matched it.

If you have chonky legs and bad taste/poor eyesight, Endura Singletrack II knee pads can be had for a mere £19.99 (though you'll need to find some other fantabulous bargains to bump your order over £25 for free postage)

https://www.cyclestore.co.uk/endura_singletrack_2_knee_pads_lime_green-ID_86702

If you have a loving of the obscure and brands so underground they will bamboozle (and possibly alienate) your friends, you could plump for these ALAUDARK PLUME for a similar £19.99 price tag, albeit with free postage and a bit more size flexibility to boot!

Gutted, they only have tiny and massive left. I use these in my ebike, bugger to remove tyres but they protect the rim brilliantly

Thanks for that. Don't like the colour but at that price I'll live with it. Lucky they had my size although I hope a 45 in NW is the same as my current Shimano AM5 in 45!

They seem far lighter than the AM5 which is what I am after. I'll probably sell the Shimanos for £20 so can't go wrong with a £5 upgrade, fingers crossed on the sizing.

I always find shimano small in sizing, but then with Northwave I also got some and they were slightly small so you may be ok. It says a 45 is 11 doesn't it but for me 45 in northwave felt more like a 10 but then a shimano 45 is a 10.

Waitrose had chocolate Panettone reduced from £12 to £3. I had to have one!

Various neighbours and family have brought 4 to us as gifts. Waitrose x 1, M&S x2, Morrisons X1

The Morrisons one was half eaten then made into a form of bread and butter pudding... 😋

@kimbers

It’d would probably do the job but it would rattle in the tyre, mine do in 2.6 DHR2 and I think they are large

That's a few times that has happened with Edinburgh cycling co. Seems like their stock control software isn't real time.

I got my shoes.

I did actually wait unit they'd arrived before I posted up here as I was expecting them to be cancelled as I've had the same with them in the past.

Why? An order you didn't really need was canceled due to massive customer over ordering that their system wasn't built to handle?

They're a good company but not the kind that can just magic stuff out of thin air.

Sportpursuit has Renthal carbon fatbars for £85. Not sure if that's a bargain or not but may be...

They also have some good prices on POC helmets and Deuter frame bags.
