Same here 👍
Had an email saying that they have a backlog
Had UPS delivery note for Friday. As above. Probably loads of orders and few staff to handle things
Mass anxiety over (free) delivery of a £26 purchase no one actually needs? 🤣
Gore jacket arrived, 7 days from order. Cheers again.
Thanks for a great PSA,

Merlin have the Magura MT4s for £40 per end, not sure how that compares to the German price.
Anyone got the lupra 2 in amethyst grey, wondered if it's a bit garish?

I have its not garish, but its more like a 'Palma violet' colour rather than grey
magura mt trail (mt5 dual pot front, mt4 single pot rear) at winstanley's for 130 quid.

Disney+ is now bundled with sky allegedly at no extra cost.
They're also adding other streaming services HBOMax and Hayu as part of your sky package
i'll just add a reminder to check how much you're paying for broadband and/or tv and telephone. i just had a look at my plusnet bill and bejesus, they're offering a better package to new adopters for half the price. 🤨
I've just been having the same discussions with EE, paying well above what is being offered to new customers and they wont budge on it. So (ironically) I'll likely be moving to Plusnet even though its the same company

I looked at Sky Stream and the package that includes Disney and Hayu is £7 more than the standard one which is £1 more than taking out a Disney subscription but without the freedom to drop in and out. Add to this that Sky Stream when I used to have it was mostly good but could become very flaky with settings and connection at times I would really steer clear.
I had never heard of Hayu so had a look at it and it really isn't aimed at me 🙂

I did say allegedly 🫣
I'm still on a sky q box so might be different if you're on sky stream.
Sport pursuit has some camelbak bargains. There’s some tiny 400ml dirt cap bottles for four quid, as well as the forge commuter insulated mug which fits in a bottle cage.

Some good deals on Aeroe racks etc at bike parts!

yeah. i'm off to vodaphone. they're all reselling openreach.

There's a lot more to it then just reselling an openreach product. That product only connects your home to the providers aggregation and core networks. It's at this point things like contention ratios, network resilience and network quality come into play. I don't know much about vodas network but I do know that when I last tried them (about 5 years ago now, so not at all recent) the network performance was abysmal. Both EE and Plusnets networks I know to be very well designed and implemented.
yeah, fair play. have some schooling in comms and networking and appreciate what you're saying. when i switch i'll be paying more attention than i did with plusnet. their copper perversely behaved better for me than FTTP, despite the better up/down numbers. i'll be running some tests for packet loss and whatnot. the fibre i suspect was never performing at it's best. the price has grown inflated beyond anything reasonable so i'm starting again for that reason alone.
I missed it when it was £369 last month, but the Garmin Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar is back in stock at £399 at John Lewis
EVOC Hip Pack Pro E-Ride 3L (steel green only)
£29.95 at Biketart
Excellent deal. It's the 'E' version which means it has tabs for carrying for your bike charger cable. No bladder

Thanks. A few places have it around that price or a few quid less. Bought one to try for longer gravel rides where I'm currently using a small backpack.
Also grabbed one at that price. Bit more space than my current bum bag, should just about cover all but the biggest days out.
I've got c2s on a bike in the garage. Whilst they kicked the poop out of everything else available at the time, I can assure you that compared to anything from recent history, 'Good' and 'powerful' are a little open to interpretation.
Must be rose tinted glasses, but in my head everything since the C2 has failed to live up to that combination of completely rigid lever feel and wheel locking on every surface power. i remember swapping to Haynes Mag-9 which were the next 'big' brake to come along and thinking they were just a bit underwhelming (but you could ride downhill with both hands on the bars not managing the brake reservoirs).

just be aware thats the 47mm ( the medium sized one) so not the largest battery life
4 pairs of socks for £10 at planet-x, you do have to pay £4 postage though but its still a good deal
My evoc bum bag has arrived. Replacing a knackered Sonder one.
The quality on this is so much better than the Sonder or other bags I’ve had. Genuinely well thought out compartments, much wider belt to avoid digging in, ventilation padding.
thanks @snowrock for flagging it on this thread
Same, well impressed with mine. Don't think I'll need a backpack for many rides at all now.
Mine has turned up as well. It's a gift for MrsAmbrose. I love the colour, I hope she does too.
Mine turned up too and came to say the same as others...really impressed, lots of attention to detail and I do like the colour which is a bit more muted than in the website pics. Cheers snowrock

Just bought one and a back pack through the Biketart eBay store. With the current voucher I got the 3L eRide Hip pack and 12L eRide back back for £56 delivered.
I've had numerous CamelBaks but bought an Evoc 26 from Merlin a few years back and became a convert.
Not bike related, but Uswitch are offering free electricity 8am-4pm for one of the days this early May BH (you choose sat, sun or Mon). It'll work with your existing supplier, they just monitor your usage and pay you up to £10 so that's about 30kWh to get through.

Interesting. How does that work then? As in, what's in it for them?

Mortified for a moment that I might have missed a trick the £56 is with the Cheery20 code, there are vouchers you apply that add the code in. Phew!
Garmin Edge 1040 available for £285.99 via discount portals - Blue light card/Perks at Work etc
I got one at Xmas the last time they were discounted. Very happy with it, fast unit and huge battery life, easily 40hrs+ while navigating

You have to sign up via their app which gives them access to your smart meter so they can then email you with stuff (which you can unsubscribe from) and send you notifications on your phone (which you can turn off). So it's cheap customer acquisition for them vs other marketing channels.
😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
