Any good deals on full face helmets?
Loads of helmets on Sport Pursuit.
Cheap forks here as well. Yes there is import tax to pay but still work out cheap.

Thank you. Have you ordered from them before? I am confused as other German sellers sell exvat so VAT to be added at custom clearance.
However those guys say that you need a VAT number to get exvat pricing but not clear if that applies to the UK (you shouldn't need a VAT number for the UK to pay exvat).
In other words are those prices in £ exvat or incvat?
It reads business customers fill in VAT No to receive discount, private customers ignore fields - from which I'm assuming prices inc VAT. £270 posted for FOX Perf Elite 34's - even with 20% VAT and some 2.5% import tax is still a fair bargain.
But is that really that good? Probably around £350 after tax and the inevitable customs handling charge. I think they are £400 on merlin and most can get a loyalty token to bring that down slightly. So it'smaybe £40 saving to deal with an unknown seller in a different country where delivery any returns, if needed, are likely to be significantly more complicated.

Another auction of cycling attire.
VAT, postage and hammer fees added to the bid price total about 50%
TK Maxx in Guisley (Leeds) have a size L Endura Singletrack 2 jacket for £49.99 if anyone is looking for one

Thought I'd find out, as I wanted matte finish.
Under half price at £25. Altura Esker base layer. Also 10% discount if you sign up. The discount code says not for sale items but it was accepted. The sale colour is carbon not the off white reviewed by Road CC.

Bargain. I have one of those in off-white, it's super toasty for colder rides.
Any views on sizing? I'd normally be a large, but the sizing charts would suggest XL...
I have a medium, and all my other riding tops are mediums. These have decently long sleeves and body (I have a proportionally long body, and often find sleeves are annoyingly short - these are spot on). There's room for my middle-aged spread without being flappy, and the sleeves are quite close-fitting - almost clingy - but in a good way. There's room in there for bigger arms than mine.
You can also get the Polartec version for a out the same price , super toasty it's been my go to the last 2 Winters
Anyone aware of any good deals on biking related hoodies for someone who takes a Medium/Large?
I could do with at least one, but £50 for most is a bit of a stretch for one…
Or do I just need to suck it up that things JUST cost more nowadays, appreciate the ideal time to look is summer really too!
Banana Industries Minion tyres £15 , not sure about compound , too many variations
Quite a lot of Leatt stuff on sport pursuit

www.superstarcomponents.com have got 50% off pads and discs this weekend.
The pads and rotors are great
Have they stopped their blue ebike pads? They seemed to be like their Kevlar pads but lasted longer.
I liked the Kevlar pads but loved the ebike pads.
Going back to the brake chat, are people actually interested in SRAM Level brakes? I took a pair of my DJ/pumptack bike and was going to bin them thinking it's not worth trying to sell them.
Replaced them with the Code RSC from above so I can do some basic trials-y stuff
I've sold a pair from a bike on ebay but Level's don't sell for much :/

Set of Rotors and bolts for £35 delivered... Can't argue with that!
Big fan of their pads but never tried the rotors out
That Bird Aether 9c on the last page is a right bargain if you like carbon. Not much more than I paid for my 9a in a very similar spec.
Are Bird doing ok? v little stock on their website, seem to be selling off the last of their bikes like Privateer did.
I think they're moving premises, but beyond that I dunno. Hopefully they're doing okay
£700 for a Mahle X35 hybrid ebike!
Slightly odd one but i got recommended an app called Everup, which is a gift-vouchers-with-cashback deal. It's not brilliant for bike stuff but does include Evans Cycles, Halfords and Decathlon. Basically you can buy a gift voucher for yourself in realtime, you get usually around 4% cashback for it, and then you can spend it immediately- literally quick enough that you can do it in a shop and spend it 10 seconds later. So it's like one extra step at a checkout or website but basically free money. Which you can use to buy more gift cards if you want. And since it's just a payment method it combos up with things like clubcards, other discount codes, topcashback etc.
I've mostly been using it for Tesco, screwfix and B&Q 😛 But that's more money for bike stuff. Or Airbnb for holidays. I'm going to go mental with it in TK Maxx though
I think it's against the rules to do referral code things but I'll recommend it anyway, it really doesn't seem to have much downside. Oh there's a whole other side to it with scratchcard games and such which is probably ideal gateway drug for gambling addiction stuff but you don't have to do that 🙂
Thank you. Have you ordered from them before?
Sorry missed this. Yes have ordered from them. Had to pay tax on import (was expecting too). Still worked out cheaper than UK.
Merlin have Float X2 performance 205 x 60 trunnion for £150 atm
For the wide of Foot, Lake have 30-50% off in the outlet, plus £20 off ‘first’ order
Any good deals on full face helmets?
Tredz have the Troy Lee Stage in "stealth midnight" colour, aka black, for £168. unusually for such sales they have all sizes in stock.
£168 for a helmet: bargain 😂
They’re very light, comfortable and well vented. And reduced from £300. So yeah, it’s a good deal.
Crankbrothers wheelsets - £350
I don't think anyone's ever paid £300 for a Stage, I paid about this for mine. But it's still a good deal especially in all sizes and in a non-horrible colour. It's one of those fullfaces that you wear when you normally wouldn't want to.
@oli31 thanks for the tip off on the shock. Got a shock in my transition sentinel that may well be screwed - creaking horribly, intermittently. That x2 is only slightly more than a service.
I suspect it might be one of the old unreliable batch of x2 but reckon I'll risk it and warranty it if needs be.
I've got the x2 factory on another bike and it's a great air shock IMHO
Yeah that was my thinking too! the tip originally came from a Tommy C YT video : )

TLD stage is a superb bunnet. Eldest has had two, one of which has gone through a major crash and while destroyed clearly meant his brain was somewhat less destroyed.
