now the key question... could i live with mismatched crank colour or am i too much of a tart? 😀

Was thinking same. These will work with ultegra 6800 I assume??

They should work with any Shimano HT2 road crank. Having a battered old 2010 Sora crank on the non drive side and a shiny Ultegra on the other is probably not a good look though!
