Just a head's up for those who don't know, the pic on Wiggle / CRC shows a type 1 X01 mech which isn't compatible with the 52t cassette.

Received my order today, and can confirm it is X01, even though it does state SX in the description (Ad Nauseum with wiggle)

I ordered one of these a couple of weeks back.
Was an xo1 but the older type for a 50t not a 52t.

Same as @singlespeedstu, I've got one and it's an older version 50t capacity. (fine for me, that's what I have on my cassettes)

It’s a type 3 52 t compatible xo1

I understand the Type 3 is new clutch design and 14T jockey wheels, not necessarily capacity, is that not right?

From what I understand the Type 3's have 520% printed on the cage signifying they are compatible with the 52t cassettes.

SRAM website

A bit annoying that it's pot luck which version you get from that PSA.

I hope I get the newer one, but won't be too disappointed with that price.

Isnt type 3 just the clutch? So I would have thought you can get both 10-50 & 11-52 with the type three clutch?

As @devash says, the 11-52 has 520% written on. I think also it has X printed on the Parallelogram body whereas XO is printed on the lower pivot for 10-50?

Mine turned up today. Type 3 clutch but looks exactly like the 50T version on SRAM's website  https://www.sram.com/en/service/models/rd-x0-1-b1

52T picture on the website has the X starting on the parallelogram  https://www.sram.com/en/sram/models/rd-x0-1-b2

The 'notch' in the 52T cage is clearly different to the 50T too:

EDIT. and this.  That said, plenty seem to say 50T works fine on 52T cassette.

52T cage:

SRAM 52T X01

My one was the old 10-50t derailleur so therefore no good for me. Was worth a gamble, but back it goes!

@onecheshirecat - thanks, but it would only be for the spares cupboard, and can't really justify it having spent lots on AbsoluteBlack getting my road bike ready for the alps (just waiting for Mrs Epic to see the CC statement😧)
