Entries open, and no doubt shut very soon after, at 10pm today.

Feels too early to even think about it!.

Madness. I thought it would be a bit slower with the earlier entry, appears not.

I'm in though!.

I think less. I was all ready and prepared and quick on the keyboard with Sientries open bang on 22:00

I managed to get my entry in, but my son is on the wait list.

I reckon it took 30 seconds for solo to go.

I fluffed getting my detailsin, I was too relaxed after getting a quad team in easily last year.

I'd agree. I bounced through straight away, but still ended up on the waiting list. Pretty gutted tbh. 🙁

Bollox missed it. F****** annoying. Must have been my toes sending signals to my brain to make it forget and save them from being frozen again.

Oh well, I guess that means I don't have to go on 100 mile road rides in the dark in over christmas 🙂

Hah, was thinking of dong it again solo, didn't realize entry was so soon so wasn't on my diary. Ah well. Entries for the solo are more and more of a lottery anyway... it's like the first part of the race is who can click a mouse the fastest...

I'm in, solo again. Definitely a type 2 fun event as I hated it until about a fortnight afterwards

I'm in for solo. I've obviously forgotten the last descent from this year 😉

Fab, there now begins another 6 months of random people trying to convince me to join their team because someone else has had an outbreak of the sense. Good luck to all 🙂

Join one of the teams of 10 as the designated drinker. No need to do laps. Or so I'm told. 🙂

That's foolish.

It will spoil Xmas.

Just practise your staying up all night techniques during that period.

The correct thing is to wait a decent interval after the festivities to recover, and seeing as the Puffer is later in January this year, you'll have a whole 2 weeks, but you need a week of that for thinking about preparing your bike. 🙂

I blame that Adventure Show special on it, making everyone think "Yeah, bit of training, I could do that".

Glad I thought " Bit of training, I might still die"

Gutted to miss out on a solo space again. Looks like there was no rush to fill the quad teams again. Really wish they'd use those for solos and pairs.

Yep, agreed, 10 person teams a bit of a joke IMO.

gutted,

I really wanted to do it, partly as a training run for the Rovaniemi 150.

could enter as a team of 10 & the other 9 forget to turn up !!!!
