Brand new £800 (almost half price!) spotted in Cyclesurgery Manchester.

It says small on the frame however (to me)- it looks like a medium. Put it this way- I'd ride it and Im 6foot!

My friend just bought teh last 6.6 from a local shop for 799€, pretty good deal IMO. I guess the geo is a bit different to current AM bikes, but if you slap a headset that slackens it out a bit it should be stellar.

A week too late for me but I'm not complaining 😉 . CRC had a batch of them for sale last summer for £999 iirc - was very tempted then but left it a little too late.

Jesus curly are you really taking a thousand-pound hit on a frame you have never used? 😯

Not quite. Got it for £1100 but then managed to get it on Cycle to Work scheme. Turns out that it won't be burly enough for what I was planning using it for! Should have got an Uzzi, Socom or SS 😳

i was thinking of buying this (rang up yesterday), i was put off due to the fact its a small, and it's 160mm of travel and i'm after 140/150.

What are these like geometry wise? Do you think it could be a medium listed wrongly?

but raw intense sounds amazing 😆

Pinches- it looks more of a medium of other brands frames to me.

IMO- It looked bigger than another brands 'S'.

Get them to measure it up with a tape measure. They can transfer it (for no cost) to a store nearer you (Spitalfields transferred their medium Blur4x to Manchester for me to look at) 🙂

I've been checking out the geometry on crc as they have a full chart.

geom is 6.6 - S

Seat Tube 16" Top Tube 21.8" H/A68.5º S/A 73º

Rear travel 6.75" Fork Travel 170mm

I actually work for cycle surgery in Holborn, so i could get it transferred i was just looking for more info before deciding if its what i want. It is mega short though and alot of travel for my kind of riding!

Friend is just finishing building his up (wheelset still missing). He went for a 2010 RS Lyric Solo Air as it's really light (2.2kg). I got the same fork for a raw Uzzi VP I'm building up (just frame missing).

Both will be used mainly as a burly(sh) trail bikes with the very occasional day at a bike park...
