Dropped price on Amazon today from over £410 yesterday. Looks the cheapest in stock anywhere by far.

Still expensive but a great price.

Yeah great prices, posted in my existing PSA thread from last time they were on sale but might not be seen by everybody.

I'm very tempted by a 6x Pro @ £330, selling my forerunner 245 music would get me over £100 back easy so it'd be about £200 for the upgrade...

Must resist... 😣

Is this preempting the new rugged Apple Watch?

Semi-related, the Garmin Forerunner 245 is also £140, which I think is the cheapest it's ever been. In the case of the 245, I think they're clearing old stock because they've released the 255 as an update.

is that great ? without looking to hard about 3 weeks ago i bought a fenix 6 pro for 309 after my forerunner 735 decided it was no longer waterproof.

I bought mine off amazon - but i could have got one from many sources at the time.

great watch though for not much more than my 735 was when i bought it in 2016

that said has anyone actually managed to use garmin express to put music on the thing ? so far ive managed to use amazon music to get music on to play but none of my own music will load up -garmin express seems its wonderfully buggy self.

I got the 6x Pro for £340 which I thought was a good price.

Bizarre that two days later I got a £30 refund from Amazon against the watch, no idea why but it took it to £310.

If you aren't, use Keepa for tracking and alerting on Amazon prices.  Pretty brilliant IMO.

I picked up a 6 Pro a few weeks back for £309. Really liking it and it's provoked me into running again which is no bad thing.

Just picked up a fr255. Has pulse ox, most up to date GPS, body battery and a few other features I was interested in. 299 RRP.

Just clicked buy on the instinct solar (£150)

Seems like the ideal watch for me, less fussy, buttons rather than touch screen, good battery life with solar top-up... So I'll be chopping in a few devices to cover the cost of this one.

Anyone know if it does HR broadcast?
Should talk to an edge so I can leave the strap off right?

@cookeaa

My Venu broadcasts to my edge explore so I'd be very surprised if the instinct didn't do that as well.

Should do, even my forerunner 245 does it.

Well I'm very pleased then.

I know it was on special for less earlier in the year but £150 is still pretty good considering.

I was going to hold off as my missus' cast-off Vivoactive has convinced me a half decent watch with wrist HR is probably more generally handy than a bar mounted device (aside from navigation and displaying info when riding) but I had no burning need for a new watch just yet.

However for the battery life, the thing I really wanted, it seems a bit of a steal, there's no way I'm spending Fenix/Enduro money to get big run times and I can do without the extra Nav features...
