It never fails to amaze me, how you only ever find out how much of a * some people are when there is cash involved.

Yes, I agree that the people getting all judgemental and angry because they missed out are *s. 😉

I've not had a refund or an email yet btw - anyone else?

Any idea whether they will re-do the code but for single use?

I placed one order and ordered one thing. Why the multiple orders?

How many bikes do you folks own?

This thread reminds me of rosé when they messed up the exchange rates, they came on the forum and said no problem and agreed to honour all of the orders.

I placed one order for £80 with code, had an Evans email first, then a PayPal receipt. Should I be expecting a second email from Evans then?

My orders have been cancelled (apart from the first one - although had to cancel that too as I didnt need those parts without the other ordered parts) - says a refund can take upto 5 days. I expect most people will get their 1st/original order.

I got all the emails for each order and checked this morning and the money had been sent by PayPal

No cancellation email through yet, but I'm guessing they've got quite a few to do!

Is that the rules? One order per bike? 😆

After buying the Saris Bones Solo and getting it for £25 with the discount I've just discovered that it won't fit my car ffs!

at that price, you'll easily make your money back on it (and some!)

Any updates on whats happening to the orders?

I have heard nothing about the two I placed other than the original confirmations from Evans that they had been accepted.

I've had an e-mail saying that all orders would be cancelled apart from my first. Followed up by individual cancellation e-mails for my second and third order.

Not completely unhappy with that.

Yep, order one seems to be ok, order 2 is cancelled. Not too concerned as I still got a pair of spd's and a toady seat pack for £22. I'll just pay full price for the ergon grips and spare exposure mount from the lbs!

One cancelled, first to be fulfilled. I'll have to find somewhere to get that 2nd tyre 🙂

They had some weird out of date address on my recent one. Nothing showed at the checkout (as paypal shows the delivery address)- then on order confirmation BANG there it was - an old address.

Had a polite email from them stating there had been a cockup at their end with the code and that they will honor the first purchase. Seems pretty fair to me.

I only placed one order for a Camelbak, got the confirmation email and had nothing since. I'm hoping no news is good news.

Normally very good but surely a 9-page thread on here tells you they've got thousands of orders to go through!

Phoned them today, a nice lady said one of their operatives was now busy processing my order and it would arrive in the next 3 to 5 days.

Like pretty much every shop known to man, online and off.

You really are quite determined to find something to feel maligned about, aren't you?

Serious 1st world problem.

Always amazes me how quick people are these days to bring out the "i'll take you to trading standards" or "Small claims court". I'd understand if it was for a faulty bike etc or serious amount of money.

But £20 FFS??

Funny though if people end up with one tyre or brake.

Um..... where has anyone said that? Looks like someone else is bitter about missing out. 🙂

Still no email or refund - maybe both my orders are going through. 😉

Why do you assume those commenting on the moaning or multi-ordering didn't place an order...?

tbh going by those terms and conditions they should honor the orders! its a cock up on there part and there isn't a directly related T&C's clause which by trading standards means that this should be honored!

I think you've extrapolated slightly there.
