I ordered some Clif Bloks from here. It uses PayPal as I wasn't sure it was legit but they arrived today. March 2021 date. Super cheap for 18 packs worth (£40 on wiggle) - cheaper than Jelly Babies!

Yup, jumped on this too, always liked a bit of margarita on my ride..
As an aside, if you decide to add a bottle of exotic aloe vera hand-wash onto your order (because why not) it does something funny at checkout and says no delivery options on the bloks. More fool them.

I think it's because each product comes direct from the respective manufacturer?
The blurb for the Clifbloks actually says:
"Pay the postage of £4.99 and get a FREE case of shot bloks worth £45!"
So technically they're giving them away! A loss leader I guess, try to get folks hooked. Will probably be the reverse, after munching 18 packs before March I'll probably never want another Clifblok again... 😀

Someone in my club has confirmed that if they go out of date all that happens is they get slightly chewier. Probably fine then because he also warned the Margarita flavour is very salty, so best used on sweatier summer rides when hopefully they'll soften up again 😉

Well, my Bloks have arrived. 3 boxes of 18 marguerita flavour. How I'm ever going to eat all these is a mystery I've yet to unravel :o) Very nice flavour though, dated until 2021.

Well, I've hidden mine from Mrs Davesport & my grown offspring at the back of my wardrobe. I've got three boxes to get rid of before they go rotten. I'll probably just sit on my bed and eat them :o)
Best before Feb 2021. I'd love to use them just for riding but I'm sure some will be eaten just for fun.
Hmm... not sure I could eat them just as a snack, I combine them with Soreen and gels on rides as they sit in the middle of a spectrum which runs from least easily digested through to instantly digested 😎

^ As an alternative, just add some tequila, lime juice, triple sec and lime to your water bottle. Bit of salt as an electrolyte. This thread has reappeared at an opportune time. Lets see what they are like. Thanks Robbo

Only ginger and mountain berry left when the ordered earlier.
You can also spend large amounts of money at Merlin and get them for free. Possibly not the most economical way to get them but a welcome surprise in the bottom of the box.

As a fellow knackered pancreas owner, they are really good for hypos. Not sure about the caffeinated ones in the middle of the night though. I use them for long rides too, easy to have a block every half hour or so to keep sugar topped up.

This is why I bought them. Pushing glucose tabs into my son on rides gets very tiring (for him) very quickly.
